Process
At MS Bespoke Woodwork,
We understand that opting to go for bespoke cabinetry and joinery should be enjoyable and exciting, as we truly bring ideas to reality. With this, there is a large amount of imagination and trust needed. We work with you using image boards, hand drawings and CAD drawings to bring the initial vision to life. Working with you the whole way to make this enjoyable and truly bespoke to yourselves.
How our process works
First contact
Through email, phone, message or even in person, we are always happy to listen and discuss your intended project and what you are trying to create. We will discuss and go through to get an initial concept of your project.
At this point we will take a few details of the project and take contact info. This is the first step in moving towards your vision.
We will then make an appointment for the initial site visit.
Site visit
On the initial site visit, we spend time discussing further details with yourselves about your project. It is always helpful if you have images of the intended concept of the finished piece. We make notes on designs, finishes and fitting, also taking initial measurements.
Depending on the service required the next few steps may vary for different people.
Quotation and drawing.
From the initial site visit, we will provide a quotation, or an estimate of the work intended. This gives an understanding of cost.
Alongside the quotation or estimate we provide a simple line drawing to give a visual element. We give a guide to lead times in weeks for the start of manufacture.
On order acknowledgement of the agreed work and details, we then move to the initial deposit.
Further Designs.
Through working for many different clients, we understand that different requirements can be needed.
We do offer a design service which consists of us making a mood board of designs, concepts, finish and fittings. With drawings of the concept in the intended space.
We do charge for this service separately and with this work being invoiced separately.
Deposit invoice.
Once an order acknowledgement has been placed. We then send the initial deposit invoice to you. Once the deposit has been paid, we will send an acknowledgement of the payment and will confirm your position in our schedule.
We then move on to the manufacture stage.
Manufacture and finishing.
Once details have all been finalised and deposit payment has been received.
We then begin the manufacturer process and finishing to your specifications. Once the manufacturing and finishing is complete and everything is ready to leave the workshop.
We then send the interim invoice.
Interim invoice
When all the items are ready to leave the workshop we send over the interim invoice at this point we arrange a date and time for delivery and start of the installation. Once the interim payment has been received, we will send an acknowledgement of payment.
Delivery and installation
At this point we then deliver all items and start the installation. Once installation has been completed and you are happy. We send over the final invoice.
Final invoice
Once all the work is completed, we send over the final invoice for the remaining balance. Once the final balance has been paid, we will send an acknowledgement of the payment.
After care
As throughout the whole process we always are here to help. If anything occurs after completion, please get straight back in contact with us and collectively we will work out a solution.
